Restructuring to Remain Competitive

Challenge

A very busy veterinary clinic approached Cornerstone to assist in reshaping their team as part of their efforts to remain agile and competitive in the market. The business was changing the way it was offering certain specialities and it was critical that they have the right people to support the business for future growth.

Action

Cornerstone helped the clinic’s management team to identify the skills needed in the team through an assessment and gap analysis of their existing workforce with specific consideration given to the speciality area they were focussed on developing. Cornerstone supported the business throughout the changes that were implemented conducting performance reviews, developing position descriptions and assisting with recruitment as needed.

Through restructuring and ensuring the team was agile to meet the requirements of the business as it transitioned into new speciality areas, Cornerstone played a strategic role in preparing the clinic for further success in the future.
